For the last two days, my Fitbit stops recording steps once it hits around 9980 steps. Has anyone else had this problem? It is up to date

Hi there, @Pottyandcake. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Fitbit device. I understand where your concern is coming from.
While reading your post I was wondering if you have more than one Fitbit device connected to your Fitbit account? If so, that would explain why your steps are not being accurate. For more information, see Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?

My Fitbit has completely freaked out. Yesterday I did 18000+ steps. This morning it said I did 8000??? This morning I did a 3.3 mile walk which is logged plus a yoga session but my dashboard says I’ve done 3 miles - I’ve been walking around all day so I can’t have done less than my walk?? I’ve just walked I to town and my steps have gone down another 1000 steps. What is going on??
