My Charge 4 was less than a year old when the connector broke the first time and 8 months later it’s broken again. Fitbit replaced the pebble in March 2022 as my watch was still under warranty without issue but now it’s no longer covered. I have been a Fitbit user for a number of years and never had a problem with any of my watches until the Charge 4. I have seen other posts for the same problem. There appears to be an issue with the connector on the Charge 4.

I forgot to mention that I currently cannot use this watch so I’m without tracking for 4 days now. Not impressed😞. Trying to figure out if I can fix the connection.

I have precisely the same problem -- connector to which the strap attaches simply broke off from the body. My tracker has become unusable from what appears to be a design problem. I've not had very good longevity from the Fitbit trackers. Each one that I've owned seems to stop working for one reason or another in about 14 months -- just long enough to no longer be under warranty. I've filed a complaint with Fitbit and have not heard back. Even if they offer a discount on a replacement -- and this is not a certainty -- this has translated to spending $100 - $150 every 12 - 18 months to replace the tracker. And since I like to have a second charging cable (one at work) and they keep changing chargers with each new model release, I have to buy another charger. It's really maddening. While I am awaiting some type of response from Fitbit, this is an opportune time to look at Garmin, Google, etc.

I successfully repaired the broken strap connector piece on my Charge 4 tracker. Search for "Broken strap connector: Successfully repaired! DIY"
