One day, despite having plenty of battery life left, the screen flashes the Fitbit logo and then permanently bricks. It's utterly unresponsive no matter how much I charge it and no matter what I do. The first time it happened, I brought it back to the store and they examined it, told me they had no idea what had happened, and gave me my "one-time" free replacement. Today, about a year later, the same thing has happened with my replacement Charge 4.

Hi there, @wananha1. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 4 replacement is also having issues. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you!
If you haven't done so yet, please try the following steps in the order listed while your Charge 4 is connected to the charging cable:
With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Charge 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
