Charge 4 suddenly displays incorrect time

My Charge 4 will suddenly display an incorrect time. For example - last night around 8:30 pm - it was showing that it was 12:30 am and had rest my daily steps, etc. 

I opened the app and it synched up and displayed correctly.

Today at 11:00 am - it was displaying 3:03 pm - again, I opened the app and it fixed it.

 

What could be causing this?

This happened to me about a half hour ago. My time jumped ahead 7 hours. I opened the app and synced, and the time went back to normal. I notice that my time zone is GMT -7 so my suspicion is that somehow my time morphed to the actual GMT time zone. Don't know why, but that was about as much sense as I could make of it.
