Well I'm amazing! but seriously I can't clear the steps and my multitude of awards that I am not worthy of lol. Does anyone e know how I can clear this data?
I have tried to reboot, etc and the steps just won't clear to zero.
Does anyone know how to remove the incorrect data or what caused it?

Hi there, @koliphant1. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Charge 4.
As you have mentioned, Fitbit devices may give you credit for extra floors while doing everyday tasks such as opening doors, driving, AC, or riding elevators or escalators, or from abrupt weather and atmospheric pressure changes. Exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors. Have you checked this? If you haven't done so yet, please try cleaning it with by following these steps How do I clean my Fitbit device?
Don't forget that Fitbit devices that count floors have a small hole (altimeter sensor) on the back of the device so please don’t insert any items, such as paper clips, into this hole as you can damage your device.
While there isn't an option to remove those floors, my best suggestion is to manually log a driving activity to negate those details. Additionally, you can restart your Charge 4 to refresh its performance, wear it snug on your wrist and monitor its behavior.

Hi there, @Hons. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 4. I understand where your concern is coming from.
Do you have another app connected to your Fitbit account that will add more steps? Mobiletrack maybe? Low-power step sensors inside your phone track your steps and send the data to the Fitbit app. We recommend using MobileTrack if you forget your Fitbit device at home.
With the above being said, I'd suggest you to check if MobileTrack is causing the extra steps. I've seen many users (including myself) who had have this issue and at the end we realize that MobileTrack was the one adding steps while we were sleeping. It would worth the try to double check this.
Know that you can negate the extra steps in the Fitbit app. For more information, see: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?
Hope that helps.

I have a similar problem with my Charge 4. I get a LOT of floors, and yet I have NO steps in my home and none at work. I read once that wind could cause it, but we also have no wind in our home or office. How can I make my fitbit only count steps and not floors unless I actually do climb stairs?

Hi Hons,
I too have many awards that I have not earned on my fitbit sense
I've earned floor awards, step awards that would have been impossible to achieve
as I was recovering from various surgeries or heart attacks. Some of them would
have been impossible for a marathon runner!! The number of steps were way too low
to have earned all of the floor awards given.
