Charge 4 tracked way too many steps, Zone minutes and flights as I sat in a van all day..  the question is, can I adjust the toals?  We were driving up and down hills and it is telling me I climbed 300 flights of stairs and had 350 zone minutes!  It ruins my statistics and gives a false all time best for these things.  Maybe i can just erase the day from my states?  I also don't know how to make sure it doesn't happen again, not sure what I did wrong that caused this.

Hello @Lewsir

You didn’t do anything wrong. I’ve had similar things happen (like lots of floors) with a nasty windy storm in my area or like you going up lots of high hills etc. Riding on really bumpy roads can cause odd reading as well. The good news is that you can go back and edit those odd stairs etc. Look here to see how: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1306.htm Look under “How to delete Active Zone mins in the Fitbit App” …Also covered there is “How to delete steps and floors on the Fitbit App”

😃 Please let me know if this gives you the best answer to help address your question.

thanks very much! This seems to have worked. Disappointed that I can't delete steps or floors though.

Your so welcome @Lewsir! 😃I’m happy they worked.you mentioned that you can’t delete steps it covers that in the same link I sent above but I’ll resend it here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1306.htm. Just look under “How do I delete steps and floors. You technically can’t delete steps and floors; instead, log a non-step-based activity such as driving to override the steps or floors. The steps are described in the link.
Please consider marking my previous post giving you the link and directions on how to edit your activities as “best answer”. Doing so really helps others who come to this community looking for answers to the same questions you had.
😃 Enjoy the rest of your day and as always Happy Stepping!
