Charge 4 tracking calories burned in exercise broken?

Has anyone else experienced the charge 4 start tracking insane amounts of calories burned? 

just finished a 5k in which I apparently burned 2,613 calories…. Absolutely haven’t and to top it off, my overall for the day including that and natural burn is 2610… so less than what I’ve burned on the run

Make it make sense! 
loved the charge at the start but must admit - it’s gradually getting worse and worse with each passing update
