I reinstalled the Fitbit app 3 times... The app is working, it is the Fitbit Charge 4 that is not working, pauses, and stops. It is still in great shape on the outside but on the inside. Either the vibration motor or something else is not working on the board. I have had it for 3 years and the one-year and the two-year warranty has expired. The funny thing is the Fitbit 2 I bought in 2020 is still working, it was gifted to another person. I'm 76 years old very cognitive female. I need my steps because they help me maintain my health care. Now I need to know what Fitbit is going to do for me as an elder.
I sincerely hope one of the moderators sees

Hi @SMoKeeGyRL once the warranty period is over, there isn't much Fitbit can do for you. Some older members have gotten a free device via their health insurance provider, so you might want to check into that.
