I have a weird problem where if I start a "run" activity on my Fitbit charge 4 it does not attempt to use GPS (no connecting). It just starts and no route is tracked.
If I choose "walk" then "connecting" comes up and it starts tracking with GPS without a problem. This has been going on for a couple of weeks and I can't work out how to fix it.
I can't see any setting that applied to walks but not runs for example.
Any ideas?

Hello @quix2 and welcome to the Community. I need to start by saying that I don't have a Charge 4 on my account right now. I'm sure I saw this in the past, so I hope I am right. If I remember correctly, there is a choice in there to turn the GPS on/off for each exercise that has a GPS option. Go to the Run choice in your Exercise app and swipe up. Look for a GPS option and make sure it is on.
