Pretty much what the title says. The tracker was extremely lightly used since we bought it. One morning my phone stopped connecting to it (it was on my wrist). When I checked the device, the screen would not show even though a continuous vibration was present while the side button was being pressed.
Followed the "full reboot" instructions and I do see a quick smiley face, but the screen goes dark and the device never fully boots.
Phone doesn't see it anymore.
Compared the boot smiley face to another Charge 4 we have and the smiley face stays on much longer on the healthy one. So I think it's a boot-up ussue.
I saw all the other threads with massive number of people experiencing the sudden death of their Charge 4s. I have not much hope, but I am technical - if Customer Service or Tech Support have a way of debugging the issue or resetting the firmware, please chime

Same thing happened to me today. Screen is totally dark. When I try to charge it, nothing happens. If I squeeze the charger to the sides of the Fitbit, I hear the humming vibration sound, get a quick smiley face, then total darkness again. No info shows up on my iPhone or iPad Fitbit app. Help!
