What did they say? I am now having the same problem too 😞 I believe I've had my Fitbit for about 8 or 9 months and this happened early on and they sent me a new charger and it was fine until today. Tired of wasting time on this.

I think they are sending a replacement.   Got a very prompt response when I emailed them - asked me a few questions and exchanged a few emails, to confirm I had tried various things - (like the suggestions in this thread)  I sent them photos and etc  and hopefully sorted.  If replacement arrives promptly will be grand.

I emailed via the 'Get support' part of this site.- Said it might take 7 days to respond but I got a reply almost immediately.

What is this button you keep referring to on the charge 4? I see no buttons.

This is a problem with all three fitbits I've had. Lining up the pins always takes 5 minutes if you're lucky, and then 1/3 of the time you check later and it hasn't charged. The tap feature is erratic at best and so you have to check the app to see if it is charging, and u need strong glasses to do that.

Me, too.  Tried 2 different charging cords.  No luck.  Maybe FitBit chargers are just bad?  They always see to stop working at some point.

The watch is garbage. We waisted our hard earned money. I've experienced the same. Fitbit only sent me a coupon for 35% off for a replacement watch. There should be a Recall for the Charge 4 Fitbit watch. I didn't use coupon because I believe the other Fitbit watch will do the same. Straight garbage. I'll never purchase another Fitbit watch

My Fitbit Charge 4 watch has a smiling face when plugged in but the battery is very very low. It doesn't charge most of the time and when it does charge the charge last about 24 hours.. A waist of money. Fitbit watch is Garbage.

I've experienced the same with my Charge 4 watch but the watch was outside the warranty time so Fitbit offered me 35% off coupon for a replacement Fitbit watch. I believe the other Fitbit watch will do the same. I'll never purchase another Fitbit watch. Garbage. There should be a Recall for this watch. Replace the watch for free

So glad to hear someone else down on the Charge 4.
I guess it's time to check out other trackers...

I did order a new kind of charger for Charge 4.  We'll see if, and for how long, it works.

@Oneluv504 , all rechargeable batteries have a limited life and wear out over time.  How long the life lasts very much depends on how it is treated.  For best results avoid deep battery discharges (now and again won’t hurt, but regularly allowing it to discharge completely before recharging will significantly reduce battery life).  This is not a Fitbit issue - it’s simple physics about how rechargeable batteries work.

That’s one of the reasons I would avoid buying a second hand Fitbit - or any device with a rechargeable battery: you don’t know how the battery has been treated, and battery management really does matter!

Good luck with whatever platform you move to - but remember to keep your battery topped up if you want the longest life!

In the same boat. Charges one in every four times I plug it in. I’ve bought a new cord, tried different outlets, cleaned the charger and Fitbit. It just keeps getting worse.
