why won't my charge 4 connect to GPS? It just keeps on showing "connecting" but never does. Had no trouble with the Ionic GPS connecting...

I am having the same issue. Bought this device 6 weeks ago.
I have rebooted the Charge 4 as well as verified my GPS is on for walking. Up until 1 week ago, it all worked fine. Now I don't connect to GPS. I don't want to use my phone for this functionality. So frustrating.

normal GPS, did that work?
The only thing is, with the Ukraine war, maybe Glonass (Russian) satellites
are less accessible to the consumer market right now?

The GPS function on the Charge 4 just sucks. It is unreliable and frequently 'loses' the signal, mid-walk. I get better luck connecting it to my phone's GPS. The GPS function on the Charge 4 just sucks. Let me repeat that ... the GPS function on the Charge 4 just sucks.

the market, battery life is poor when you use the GPS function, which is
the whole reason you wear the thing, it struggles to connect. Fitbit should
listen to its customers and offer better solutions.

It is so very flaky. Yesterday, I set Glonass ON and GPS Mode to DYNAMIC and rebooted the Charge 4. That didn't work. However, this afternoon it works.
Next I will try to set it to BUILT-IN-GPS which is what I prefer.
