My Fitbit charge 4 froze trying to start a run. I rebooted it when I got home. It now doesn't do any tracking. Wearing it on my wrist and it doesn't count steps or recognise heart rate. It is just acting like its not on my wrist.
It has full battery, I have rebooted it 6 times, I have changed settings to default, I have changed the clock to another and then back (based on one posts troubleshoot solution), I disconnected and re-added the Fitbit as new device (based on another solution I found in a post). I also tried cleaning it. Nothing's worked yet.

Hi there, @Johnwalter07. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 4 is still not tracking anything. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
As our last resort, I'd recommend performing a factory reset on your Charge 4. Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.
With the above being said, please sync your Charge 4 and then, on your Fitbit device, open the Settings app > About > Clear User Data.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I have already tried that too.
It still behaves the same way. Steps do not track. And starting any activity makes it freeze.
