I've had my Charge 4 about a year now and three days ago the heartbeat and step tracking stopped working. I have read all of the advice on how to get the steps and heart rate working again and none of it is working for me. I have rebooted several times and I also did a factory rest still not working. Also band is not loose on my wrist. I am really hoping someone has a solution. Thanks

I have had this problem periodically and have developed my own method of cheating. I placed four fingers of the hand with the Fitbit inside my front pocket leaving the thumb outside. This seems to work and when I’ve done it long enough to get credit for exercise it shows up as outdoor cycling. I don’t know if this will work for you but I am probably the best outdoor cycler in the blind community based on how many minutes I do daily. I find sometimes if I walk for a half an hour or 45 minutes that I do not get credit for exercise but if I place my hand in my pants pocket and do the same amount of time or less I get credit for exercise. Hope this was helpful
