Hi there, @KHarte17. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 4.
If you changed time zones and the time on your Charge 4 is still incorrect after syncing, make sure the time zone setting is correct. For more information, see How do I fix the time on my Fitbit device?
Hope that helps.

I wish the software engineers would put more time into figuring out why this happens occasionally (perhaps always in the westerly direction?). I have my app set to Time Zone Set Automatically, yet previously and this most recent trip when I went to check it it listed the time zone was listed as the one I was in 20 hours ago. Sure, after I manually turned Set Automatically off then back on, then manually synced the device the time changed, but having to do this is yet another sign of a mediocre product.

No, it's not a mediocre product - it's a mediocre programming world these days where programmers everywhere are busy fixing problems but fixing one problem usually creates more problems ... in one world it's 1+1=2 but in another it's 1+1=3, 9, or 11 (binary, octal, ASCII interpretations etc.)
The advantage of the original Fitbit devices was that it was just one program collecting and displaying the data so it generally worked fine; but nowadays the data is collected, passed around, processed multiple times and passed around and interpreted by different programs all the time - basically an incredibly complex world that changes all the time so bugs like this are standard features.
