The band on my Charge 4 broke while I was watching TV. It got caught on arm chair arms. I could not replace as the plastic clips which click band into watch were broken. This is poor design and the second time I have had a fit bit with broken band and needed to replace watch. Expensive exercise and so I am giving Garmin a go instead.

Same thing happened to mine after 15 months only I didn't even catch the band on anything. The band just fell off! It can't be connected to the watch now and they offered me 35% off a new one but I didn't want a new one. They said someone would contact me in a few days and its been over a week with no word from fitbit.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @diamondteediver and @ddb_dunkirk. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 4 band broke.
@diamondteediver, were you advised to return the tracker without accessories?
@ddb_dunkirk, why was our team contacting you again? They have already offered you the discount.

You have to keep hounding them. They replaced mine since it was under warranty but didn’t send the band! Now I’m fighting for that take pictures.
Good Luck 🍀

I sympathize with you and all of the other Charge 4 owners. The strength of the strap is only as strong as the two little posts on the sensor which hold the miniature strap screws. On my Charge 4, both posts snapped. Therefore the watch is now useless, even with a strap replacement. I've not heard of any improvement with the design, and since I am a few weeks out of warranty, and I can't get a response from customer service, I will be terminating my 9 year relationship with fitbit and moving to another product. Good by to the community, see you on the other side. Marc

Here is a link to a watch band that holds the pebble when the clips break. I've been using mine in a clip holder similar to the Zip & One. Good luck

From all the messages on the Forum it doesn't look like they're having any luck with the Charge 5 either. It's really sad because I have a zip, one,an alta and alta hr, an inspire and a charge 3, they are all still working fine, they have definitely gone downhill as a company in the past few years. I was planning on selling all my old ones but I'm glad I hung on to them because I probably will be needing to use them in the future.

There are a few on Amazon that the pebble fits into, below is a link to one.
