I absolutely love my charge 4 and never had any issue with it. It was perfectly fine until the wristband connector broken whilst getting dressed!!!
Is it covered by the warranty? The store I bought it from claims not. I have never dropped it or misused it in any way for it to break. I was putting on a sweatshirt and snap it broke.

I wasn't taking my watch off when swimming and showering. I think that is why my Charge 4 band broke.
I don't know if this helps anyone.

Is that the part on the actual watch that the strap clicks onto because mine literally snapped off yesterday. No misuse, I love my charge 4 and now have no idea what to do.

Yeah that is exactly the part that broke and I got mine replaced!!! Im so happy and hope the replacement works just fine. Just picked it up from the carrier and will try it out later

mine just did the same thing. unfortunately for me i am out of warranty. i've been fit-bitten again. maybe i should get a 5.

Well at least you shouldnt have the same issue with charge 5. It is designed differently without the attachment thingies

The side of my Charge 4 that connects to the strap has also just come away/loose (happy to provide photos). I have messaged customer services numerous times now on instant chat and twitter but have had no response. The device is only 14 months old with light use. Is that all we should expect from the life of a Charge 4??

Mine is about that age and from what I have read it seems to be common fault at the 14month. I’m thinking that I may have to look at something else. Although for now I found some cases on Amazon that will house the tracker until I can get an alternative. They aren’t the best and are quite cheap but at least I can continue with my current charge 4 until I get a better solution.

Before you get a 5, you should look at the message board for the 5--especially all the issues with battery life. I had the same issue with the band connector just out of warranty. I won't be purchasing a 5.
FYI...there are companies that sell bands that can be used with your broken fitbit. I bought one called a "supcase".
yes, but there appear to be other problems with the 5.
happened to me too. You should expect to be offered a 35% discount on your next purchase. I will not be using the discount--can't see myself ever buying another fitbit.

Hi,
How do I get this strap connector replaced please? It’s the part on the actual watch that the strap clicks onto, it has come loose.
Thank you.

I was offered a replacement or 50% discount and I looked at the 5 but decided not to buy due to the reviews regarding battery life (although fitbit is aware and trying to fix the bug on the software causing this). So i chose to get it replaced and it works perfectly fine. But I expect it to break again sometime in the future.
so yeah I will have to buy those bands too at some point as there isnt a better option for the broken ones after warranty ends
If it is within the warranty period (1 year I guess if you’re not in a country that requires a longer period) then you can contact the support and they will assist you immediately. I got a replacement order within a day and received the new pebble in a week.

Hey there, me too! This is ridiculous I have been reading about this problem and attempting to chat with customer service as well. This is clearly a design flaw! They have not fixed my problem yet....
I am in the exact same boat! I am out of warranty (just barely by a few months), it is clearly a design flaw and that is on them! I hope we can figure this out, no reason they can't send us a replacement in the meantime.

This has happened to me too! I purchased my Charge 4 through Amazon and am unsure what to do (it is definitely under warranty as only purchased a few months ago)!
I managed to start a chat and get a Case #, but then it crashed and now everytime I try to start another chat I get an error! HELP!
