Charge 4 wristband damaged

Bought my Fitbit charge 4 July 2020. Within 6 months strap disintegrated. After looking at Fitbit web site realised that I can’t wear sunscreen with my fit bit, this when I’m waiting to get skin cancer removed from my nose. Final nail in the coffin today when I went back to the swimming pool for the first time since covid and hey presto ,it’s not water resistant (probably down to my having used sun screen to exercise outside ). Very disappointed in this product . Sorry I don’t still have my flex 2.

>From the information provided, it supports my original conclusion that the
Fitbit Charge 4is not fit for purpose and should not be for sale. The idea
that a fitness tracker from Fitbit which is supposed to be promoting
“Health and Wellbeing” cannot be used outside unless your will to risk
getting skin cancer.
As for the tracker becoming less water resistant overtime, is a ridiculous
statement. How long is “overtime “? A day , a week, a month???.
Bought it because it was marketed as being water resistant to 50m. This is
plainly not the case. Feel so let down by this product.
