My Charge 4 strap has snapped off the piece connecting the wrist strap to the Fitbit literally just pinged off. It looks like the two screws keeping the clip piece attached shared off after 12 months. Disappointing considering this is the second Fitbit I have had that’s broke.
Is there any way to purchase a replacement part?

This happened to me last week. I assumed it was the strap then realised it was the actual watch. Does anyone have any idea who/where we go to? It’s so difficult to contact these massive companies. Thanks

The same occurred to me while I was doing some moving. I've had it for only 6 months. I wonder if I'd be better off going with a Samsung.

Happened to me too after a year. Not wanting to buy another tracker but the plastic doesn't appear to be replaceable.

If it can’t be replaced I definitely wouldn’t buy another.

Happened last week to me - and I think it's the end of the road for FitBit - can find customer services email to complain!
Not good enough fitbit

My clip has also broke so cannot connect a strap they need to take the charge 4 but and replace them or or repair the irrespective of warranty or not as definitely a fault with them and not fit for purpose

Just happened to me today. I tried tightening the tiny screws but does not help. Charge 4 is only a little over a year old. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sad that fitbit doesn't stand by the workmanship of this.

I contacted them on Twitter and they are replacing the watch. Mine was from Nov 2020 and I am in the UK. I am very pleased.

I also contacted them by Twitter and said not fit for purpose as can’t wear and there were a lot of problems. Said not under warranty but would replace. They definitely know there is a problem

It seems that the warranty outside of Europe is 1 year not 2 for some reason. We’re you over the year?

You're lucky then only offered 35% discount as out of warranty - not sure it's worth it.
Come on FitBit you can do a better design!

👋😃Hello everyone
I’m just throwing this idea out here for anyone who might be interested. I understand that some of you are out of warranty and your wristband straps broke. That’s a HUGE BUMMER!! A new wristband is great but as you know if it’s broken on the actual part attached to the tracker and your out of warranty a new replacement band won’t work. But if your interested in still keeping your current fitbit and getting any use out of it you can purchase a mesh strap holder. I found mine on Amazon. Just type into Amazon search bar “MoKo Sweatproof Ankle Strap” or another brand “B-Great Ankle Band”….it’s certainly not a permanent fix but I have one myself. You simply slide your Fitbit tracker watch face into the mesh holder. It’s great to wear on your ankle as well as your wrist and it does indeed still picks up your heart rate as well. Luckily my Fitbit Band still works but I threw my straps in my dresser drawer and prefer to wear my Fitbit on my ankle.
Again, with soaring prices everywhere you look and if purchasing a new tracker isn’t in your budget at the moment this strap can hold ya off. Hopefully this might help someone.
