I updated my charge 5 yesterday and now battery lasts only few hours (it was seven days) rendering it useless. As result of any calls and messages to customer service the only answer is “out of warranty so buy another one with discount code”. No other recourse available (if only I haven’t done the update). Sadly a very disappointing outcome for a company I have used for years as strong advocate - but now looks like leaving the Fitbit community to find a company who would accept some responsibility and focus on customers.
