My Charge HR is only lasting two days. Not a good thing.
I have read the posts on the forum about the Charge battery life.
I have disabled all notifications and alarms.
I have drained the battery several times over the past two weeks, intentionally and unintentionally.
Still no change in the battery life. WEIRD!
****Now for the question to the support team and others here in the forum.
Fitbit has a product loaded with bells and whistles- notifications, alarms, wrist turns, workout tracking, nice watchband, on and on and on......
Fitbit acknowledges issues with the battery life.
Fitbit solution: Disable all the whistles and bells they created to sell the product to you. This is after you have already bought the product.
I am asking ANYONE if that makes any sense.
I workout 2-3 times a week.
i sleep 6-7 hrs a night.
I work at a desk 8 hours a day.
BUT YET the stupid battery only lasts two days?
FITBIT: Please help all of us with this issue or fix the battery issue.
Fitbit: Please remember your users are very familiar with social media and its impact on a product's sales.
HELP!!!

My Charge HR I just bought it yesterday as a matter of fact and the battery is already at half. It was fully charged about 6pm yesterday. Since I have only had it Day 2 I might take it back kind of disappointed in the battery. I love the features. I guess that is why they are discontinuing this particuliar Fitbits. I had a fitbits one that attches to my pants and it lasts about 2 weeks before I even have to charge it. I work out 6 days a week and the charge last I might go back to the older one. Thanks for sharing all this is helpful!

I and others on the forum have followed this infamous "Emerson Post". The post merely tells the users to disable the notifications, alerts, etc that are all supposed to be the selling points of the product. By telling users to do this, you are openly admitting a battery life issue. You are not solving the problem.
Ths post also does not provide details on how to restart your charge. It also does not detail how to disable the "always on" function of the app? i think i did these but not sure since i was guessing.
****Going forward, FITBIT needs to change its sellng of the units to reflect that battery life is really 2 days not 5. That way the purchasers will know in advance what to expect. They can then make a real decision of whether to buy this product or another one from your competitors that truly has a longer battery life, with the same or better functions.
Please provide more details on how to restart your charge and what exactly is the "always on" funciton you are supposed to disable, again-disable a feature of the product.
Other FITBIT Charge HR users, do not be afraid to post your displeasure with this product line so that FITBIT can be held responsible for this issue.
Using social media sometimes gets results too, folks. I am sure FITBIT will help us decide what is the best way to get them to do something about this issue.
With what we pay for this product, the battery should last longer than 2 days, without disabling its vital functions.
HELP......HELP.....HELP....
