Charge HR dead after 2 years?

My Charge HR is not working. In the last few days I noticed that it sometimes did not capture my actual total sleep time, and last night it did not continue with number of steps I took. 

This morning it doesn't show any steps and and I have taken steps from 12 midnight on. It shows date, time, calories burned, and beats per min. It's just the steps and sleep time.

 

I thought maybe it was the battery but there is no battery per instructions. Does this Fitbit really die right after 2 years or is there something I could do to correct it? It is charged.

Hello @kaput and welcome to the Community.  Can you please verify that you are using a Charge HR and not different Fitbit model?  You wrote that you have been using it for two years.  The Charge HR is an old device and was placed on Fitbit's Legacy Device list over two years ago.
