I don't know if anyone has ended up with a red mark (not a rash) where the LED section is. I get a perfect red mark there! I've only had my ChargeHR for 2 days! What can I do? I've read the care instructions and cleaned it! So far I've not undertaken any strenuous activity that causing sweating? Has anyone else had this issue?

A warm welcome to the Community @Lulabet. You shouldn't see a red mark where the heart rate sensor is. You might want to make sure that your wristband doesn't feel too tight and that it's snuggled enough for it to be comfortable to wear. Not too tight but not too floppy. However, I recommend taking it off and read our Wear and Care article, I also suggest to reach out our Support Team directly. I am sure they will go above and beyond to take care of this for you.
Keep the stepping up!

Hi Lulabet,
I have had this problem too - I have the fitbit versa lite (for about a month now) and over that time have also noticed a small red patch occasionally right under the heart monitor. Like you, it's not a rash and it doesn't itch, but it makes me wonder if the light sensors are doing something damaging to my skin... I don't wear my watch too tightly and will occasionally loosen it and move it a bit further up my arm. I also always make sure the watch is dry after I wash my hands so there isn't stagnant water between my watch and skin. Usually after I notice the red spot form, I take it off for a while...
Has anyone else noticed this/have a solution?

I also have this issue, and after talking with another Fitbit wearer she also reports the same issue.
is the sensor damaging the skin?

From a brief google search, it seems that there's nickel in the area near the sensor which causes the irritation. Fitbit states that new models of watches are now made with less nickel to reduce this irritation. Mine does the same thing. I've been wearing it for a couple years now. For a while, it went away. Now it's back. It seems like if the red spot goes away and I take the watch off and then put it back on, the irritation comes back each time. Super annoying but not painful. So I'm not really too concerned about it.

I bought a Fitbit Inspire a couple of months ago. I now have a red mark directly where the Fitbit sits. Feels like a burn. I’ve been keeping it clean but sadly I won’t be wearing it again. I feel like I have wasted a lot of money.

I have the same marks directly under the HR monitor. I'm so disappointed. I can't wear this product.

I now use my Fitbit in the clip. It is not as practical as on the wrist but at least there are no red marks.

I have the same issue. It’s not a
rash or rubbing irritation like Fitbit is suggesting and it’s only directly under the LED lights. Ive been wearing my Sense for 3 months and I love it but I wish Fitbit would identify the reason for this red mark because it’s very worrying.
