Charge HR no longer syncing to app

Since April 1st, my charge HR has not tracked any of my steps and won't connect to my IPAD.  Also the Dashboard no longer shows steps.  It only shows calories.  I tried editing the dashboard and there is no option for "steps" to add to it.
