Charge HR not getting added in app

Hi,

 

I am having FitBit Charge HR, I have updated FitBit app in my Android device. My Fitbit device was not getting sync with app hence I unpaired the device and tried to add the device again. However I am unable to do so and it is getting stuck showing connecting. I tried below steps:

- Add new device.

- Selected Charge HR

- It identified the Charge HR and displayed 4 digit code

- I entered 4 digit code in the phone app and it is showing connecting foreever.

 

Can you please help me with the same?

Let me help you with this. I suggest you refresh the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

 

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
