Charge HR not recording sleep

Despite following the instructions about how to wear my Fitbit etc… I am having more and more nights where my sleep is not recorded or it only records half the night. Does this happen as it gets older so that you’ll have to buy a new one or what?  Any suggestions?

@BN6 Welcome to our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about the sleep tracking issue that your Charge HR has experienced. By the way, thank you for trying to get it resolved before contacting our forums.

 

Please restart your Charge HR as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page, which explains how your Fitbit device tracks your sleep. Finally, monitor your Fitbit device and see if it tracks your sleep properly.

I have already done all of that. I have resynced, restarted, updated the software etc…. It still only works intermittently.
