Help!!
I have already been through ALL of the related answers in this forum but NOTHING has worked.
Bluetooth on and off. Remove charger from Bluetooth. Reboot phone. Turn off charger (but that didn't quite work because of a stalled update....it won't turn completely off). I think I have compound problems and each one is affecting the other.
Yesterday, I was pairing and updating my Charge HR through my Android phone. I've lost the dongle so decided to go this route as it seemed so easy. There was an update to install but the update stalled out halfway through. I tried and tried and tried to complete the update, but no go. Bar halfway with exclamation point. At least yesterday, my phone recognized the FitBit.
Today, all my FitBit shows is the update bar at halfway. I can't pair with my phone because the phone is looking for the charger in its normal 'on' state....not in a stalled out update....so it's not recognizing it. Can't pair.
Can't update.
Can't sync.
In that order.....
WHAT TO DO?? 😞

I faced the same problem. The device just keep displaying a charging bar. Cannot be reset.
