It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community @ZombieWalker. Fitbit trackers reset the recorded information every day at midnight. This is required to start the day at zero. If your device would continue tracking an exercise after midnight, the data could get mixed up since you couldn't see when the day ended and started up.

If you don't sync your Charge HR constantly it is not a problem, your data is still stored up to 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data. After syncing your device, you can check out your information in your Dashboard.

If the above doesn't address your question, please provide me with more details to further elaborate.

Hope to see you around more often. Smiley Very Happy

that is stupid....my day doesn't switch over till noon. I exercise between 2300 and 0001.We should be able to 'set' our 24 hours and when to start them and when to end them. Fix that. Not everyone lives a 0001 to 2359 day

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @realsilvergirl. Other users have requested having an option to set when they start the day. You are welcome to participate in a discussion about this topic here. If any update is available it will be communicated as soon as possible.

In the meantime, as a workaround only, you can try the steps shared in this post.

Thanks for stopping by, see you around. Cat Happy

Changing the time zone sounds like a really silly solution.... I work grave yards with numerous coworkers that would like to be able to pick the reset time. Midnight is literally in the middle of our shift.

If I work out from 11 PM to 1 AM it does not record the workout at all.  The data just dissappears into the abyss.  Why would it not just seperate the workout into two separate one hour sessions?
