My charge HR all of a sudden will not sync and is displaying the wrong time of day. I have already reset it a couple times and nothing has changed. I'm not sure what else I can do?

Just a shot in the dark, if people haven't fully removed their devices and turned off phones, made sure updates happened. Just try to run through the 9 steps I have listed in another thread (linked below). We are all getting tired of this constant sync issue. A couple people today already had some successful connects after following the directions.

Worked perfectly. Thanks.

I have a problem too with time - and I'm using iPhone with the latest OS and fitbot dongle on the Mac... It's Fitbit that is the problem 😉

I wish I had researched more prior to my purchase.  I would have bought a garmin.

Hi,

Mine was sorted with a hard factory reset, or that's what I think it was described as. It's on the help pages ( will try to find the link).

Mine too. Won't sync, wrong time, date, etc. I tried to reinstall app and still does not work. I'm so disappointed with fit bit. I cannot track anything accurately. So frustrated!!

I had the same issue tonight. A friend told me to plug the fitbit in to charge. Then hold the power button. It worked and I didnt lose any data.

Tried returning and getting a new Charge HR before ending up with the same problems.  Device doesn't sync and no amount of resetting or factory resetting even seems to fix it for me.  Really disappointed, when it worked I was pretty happy with the device but at this point I'm so sick of dealing with it I doubt I'll try much longer before just returning it and going with some other tracker.

Garmin are good but I had two fail within a year so swopped for the fitbit charge HR?! Not feeling overly impressed with this now not syncing.

Thats crazy. So what it sounds like is I might be doing this more oftwn
than not? Which setting are you using? All day sync or not? Always
connected or not? I wonder if it even makes a difference?

Did you see my solution...it works every time.

FACTORY RESET ... Ignore the stuff at the beginning of the article and just do it.

IT IS THE FIX  :

This worked!! I followed the steps and chose to set my device as a new one. I noticed that there was an update on the app which did the trick and hopefully will last the lifetime of the device without going back to the same problem. Like all the others, the solution was very elusive and to some even frustrating! I guess my patience paid off and thanks I came across to this post. Many thanks and hope this will further help others.

But now the battery won't charge. Yes, your discovered version worked for me a week or so ago. Afterwards I was slow in charging my watch and the battery is dead. 😞 Ya just can't win for losing.

mine is starting to do this as well...I can get it to sync, but it is losing time and now it went back an hour...what the heck?

I had the same problem with the time off by several hours.  I turned on my Bluetooth, turned on my Iphone, opened the fitbit app on the phone, plugged my Charge into the charger.  The phone and Charge did an automatic update and then synched.  I now have the correct time on both.
