This is my first time using a fitbit. I bought a new Charge HR about two months ago, but only recently had the time to start setting it up. The tracker screen is always blank except for when I plug it in— then it briefly shows the logo + "V36", then shows a full battery, then goes blank again. Pushing the button on the side does nothing --- if it's plugged in, it'll briefly flash an image of a full battery, but that's it. I tried to set it up with the app on my phone; it connected just fine to Bluetooth (the screen did turn on briefly to show the 4 number code to connect it) and the app reiterated that the battery was at 100%.
When I initially tried to update it, it failed several times in a row with the message that there was a problem communicating with my tracker. My phone and tracker were inches away from each other and connected by Bluetooth, so I don't think it was out of range. I hit "update later", waited a few minutes, then navigated to the device page and hit "update tracker", which pulled up a completely blank popup that doesn't load no matter how long I wait, with no way to close the popup without fully closing out and reopening the app. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Help?
