Hi
I have been using the Charge2 for more than a year. I am increasingly getting frustrated with the poor tracking Charge2 offers especially with my long runs these days.
I have been using Strava which computes distance and therefore my pace accurately. I think all charge2 can do is to track my heart rate. Other stats are grossly inaccurate. Only if I was able to attach pictures here comparing Fitbit maps and Strava.
My run starts and ends at the same place, yet the fitbit displays my end point miles apart.
My phone notification displays - Connected GPS is running(bluetooth disconnected). I dont know what this means given bluetooth is always ON on my phone.
I have read other threads and have performed the below:
1. On my Andriod phone, disabled any Battery Saver option with Fitbit app
2. Installed "Wake Lock" app and switch to a FULL_WAKE_LOCK. This I think keeps the phone active though in locked state
What am I missing? Or am I expecting too much out of Charge2. Is there anyone whose tracking works fine on Charge2?
I think the device and phone connectivity gets lost in the beginning phase of my run. I am seriously considering ditching the device & app and look for reliable options among competitors. I cannot keep checking my Strava on phone while I run

My run tracking is much accurate now. I haven't done anything different.
All I can imagine is Fitbit might have applied a patch to their App

Missing and incorrect data, ot started to report my route maps I correctly around d 18 months ago spent lots of time with support, but did start to work correctly for around 6 months, about 6 weeks ago it stopped tracking my full exercise route, map incorrect, mileage incorrect etc. Having tried everything support have advised to reinstall device etc, still does not work correctly, I've had 3 devices in approx 7 years Charge HR, two Charge 2 ... same issue on all devices Charge! Does fitbit configure the software to become inaccurate, in order to push you into purchasing a new device? I'm very disappointed I use for my health, had heart bypass so relied on fitbit to motivate me however poor data from the device creates more stress and does not help my health just more disappointing and stress of not getting the data I need ... suppose I'll have to find another product disappointing support ...
