Charge2 no longer notifying text, phone or calendar on iOS

Since the last Fitbit app update on iOS I've noticed that I no longer receive taxt, phone or calendar notifications on my Charge2.  Further, whenever I close the app, it will now make an obnoxious ping and tell me I should keep the app open.  What's going on?  Receiving these notifications was one of the most useful features of the watch.  And before you ask, I have all notifications turned on and have rebooted the phone and watch multiple times.  Seems this only started with the update of the app to 2.92.

And while you're at it, please for the love of everything that is good and holy, get rid of that **ahem**ed annoying notification whenever you close the app!  Whoever came up with that idea is clearly not a user of your product!

Let me help you with the missing notifications on your iPhone. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your deviceYou can find additional suggestions here.

Regarding the app notification, this is how it is intended to work but you can share your feedback in our Feature suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exist so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.

Let me know how it goes.

That seems to have done the trick.  Although I had to reboot the Charge2 a couple of times as it stopped responding the first time (would only show a battery indicator with an ! even though it was fully charged).

But after the second reboot it started responding and I can receive notifications again.

Thanks!
