Charge2 seems to be working but the screen is stuck.

I have a Charge 2 and noticed the other day after taking it off of charge that is was stuck on Jan 4th with zero steps at 12:49. I have tried everything that I can think of to get it unstuck. I went so far as to unpair it from my phone and it will attempt to repair but because the screen won't change I can't pair it to my phone again, however my 6:45am alarm will go off. The button does nothing to the stuck screen. I have also attempted to reset it however the step that says keep the button pushed while taking it off the charger is impossible to do while keeping the button pushed in. So that also has not worked.

It is keeping track of my steps or at least it was until I unpaired it trying to fix it. Any and all help would be welcome.

@Jessie9r A warm welcome to our Community!

Let me help you with your Charge 2 screen being stuck and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Let's retry the restart but remember that you don't need to remove the tracker. Plug it to the charging cable and the charging cable should be plugged to a power source (wall adapter or computer) as if you were charging it. Now press the button on the tracker for 12 seconds and see if it restarts (no need to unplug it during this step).

Let me know how it goes.

So I tried what you suggested and even did it 3 times counting a sec or two longer each time and it would light up with what is stuck on the display and then go black it even vibrated with 2 jolts but it is still stuck.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

I had the exact same thing happen right before the holidays. I updated my app (iOS 13.3, iPhone 11) and updated the firmware, which took several tries and a long time. After that, all that appeared was a horizontal white line on the screen and my Charge 2 no longer synced with my phone. Per instructions on another site, I let it die and tried to restart again, but it didn't work. I don't know what else to do!

I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times but I am also working with an android phone. I have tried the advice of letting it die and trying to restart. I also tried the one given to me yesterday also with no joy.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone
