The band on my Charge3 randomly becomes disconnected from the bottom portion of the tracker several times a day. You can see on the actual device that the clips on the tracker are not as prominent on the bottom as they are on the top. I had a Charge3 develop these problems about 10 months after I started using it, contacted FitBit and got a replacement sent. The replacement has the same exact issue. The bands are from FitBit and only have this problem when attached to the bottom of the tracker, not the top. Is this a known defect? Is there a different version that does not have this same issue that I can look into?

I cleaned mine with toothpicks and also a toothbrush. It seems that FitBit should acknowledge that this is an issue, but doesn’t seem that they have. I didn’t get a free replacement. My watch was out of warranty. I haven’t had the issue lately, though. I have replaced the bands a time or two with bands through Amazon. Don’t wear your watch too tightly, as that will stress the band and attachments - and you shouldn’t wear it too tightly for it to work properly, according to FitBit.
