Charge3 not responding and didn’t respond to reset

My charge 3 vibrated for 2-3 times with no particular reason, then stopped responding and became a black screen. The side button didn’t respond either. I put it on the charger to restart it, it vibrated again when I plugged in, but the buttery sign didn’t come up. And it didn’t  respond to the reset. I have tried a few ways to reset it that was suggested in the community, none has worked. I also tried to change the clock face way, but my phone couldn’t connect with  the Fitbit either. 
I don’t know what else to do. It would be very much appreciated if someone can help.

I have the same problem.  Started yesterday, worked fine in the morning, then at some point the screen stopped displaying.  All attempts at resets have failed.  This is the second fitbit device that has done this to me, last time they sent me a new unit after spending an hour or two with tech support going through different resets.  We would do a reset, it would not correct the display, then I would hold while they read the manual for 15 minutes only to do a longer hold the button reset rinse repeat.

Just plug into the charger, held it for 15 seconds, but nothing happened.
Have tried other ways suggested, such as held it for 15 seconds while charging, then removed it from charger, then plug into the charger again; or after the initial holding while charging, remove it from the charger, then hold it again for 10 seconds . None has worked.
