Charger 4 takes several hours to update my calorie intake after recording.  Until now. It has ways updated immediately just as my water intake does.

@Mkstreett it is not unusual for some data to sync a little later than other data - steps often sync first and more complex measurements sometimes come through a little later.  It may be related to how busy the Fitbit servers are.  It does not indicate there is anything wrong with your device.
