I have given access to location of my Charge 3 only while using app. I now get constant ‘reminders’ that I can use GPS if I set the location to ‘Always’ and share Bluetooth. I’ve no intention of doing this. How do I get rid of this really annoying pop up?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @KAEmbra.
Thank you for the information provided.
Currently, the only way to avoid the pop up request is having Allow Location Access set to 'Always'. These permissions are a requirement for Fitbit to access some features and connect with your phone.
If you have any question, please let us know.

Why are they a requirement now? They didn’t use to be. I can see no reason for Fitbit to need so much tracking data

Did you ever find a solution? This is driving me crazy. I am not going to allow fitbit to drain my phone battery by having my location set to always.

This problem was happening in 2019 as well, and now it’s back. So please don’t tell us it’s a new issue. This is an old issue that just started happening to people again. Please fix it.
