my fitbit charge 2 has developed a crack on the screen i don't understand why because it has never been dropped. It was purchased Dec 2016 how long is the warranty and can it be repaired.

Bad news I'm afraid.
Cracked screens can't be repaired.
The warranty runs for 12 months from purchase (24 months in Europe)
The warranty excludes accidental damage (tricky to prove it's not!)

@Blandy74 Welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 display is damaged. As @SteveH explained the warranty doesn't cover accidental damage. Still you can let our Support team know about this so they can assist you. You will get an email from them.

Same issue with two of our watches. We did not drop them. Irony is both watches were bought together and they showed signs of crack week apart. I think I bought them around late 2016 or beginning of 2017.
