While on holidays in September I noticed my screen was cracked. Very strange to see this as it was not dropped or misused in any way???

Same here - search the forum for cracked screen. It seems to happen a lot in the heat, and is obviously a design fault, but good luck getting anywhere with it. If you are within warranty it seems you'll get offered 25% off a new one, some have managed to get a replacement by pushing hard. If you're out of warranty, like me, forget it. Fitbit will not own up to this being a design fault. Mine's still working at the moment, so I have time to research alternatives but it won't be a Fitbit!

@Ace3 @Bookworm63 A warm welcome to our Community!
@Ace3 Let me help you with your damaged Charge 2 screen. I have created a ticket so our Support team can further assist you via email.
@Bookworm63 Support does follow the guidelines listed in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.
Let me know how it goes.

Mine is also cracked and when I noticed it was out of warrant. It still works so haven't complained. Guess I'll just try a different brand as it looks like this may be a design issue.

My original and its replacement both have developed cracks. My wife has had the same issue. So 4 charge 2's and 100% failure. FitBit have offered 25% discount of a new one but I can't see the point of going for another until they make some statement about the fault and whether they have rectified it in future batches.

Mine cracked too, a bit like the screen literally split down one side. They replaced mine, but they don't seem to last it seems. Buy an old analogue watch and they last years. A smart watch seems to last a year or two at best!!

My wife has had a different brand of sport watch for about 6 years and hasn't had any problems. The one she has was about three times more money and has about three times the functions. Best of all it is totally waterproof and the screen doesn't crack. Maybe another example of you get what you pay for.
