Dark line on Charge 3 screen.. Missing pixels?

Hopefully my picture shows....but on my new Fitbit charge 3 there is a dark line. Could it be a pixel problem? I have tried restarting it and it jashas helped. Any advice?

I have notice 6 horizontal lines in my Charge 3 display screen. I have done everything rebooting, long shut down, restarting, reinstalling app, changing the face of clock etc. Nothing has alleviated this issue of lines going through middle of screen and top.

 

Can you please help?

Hi, there are some dark lines on my devices screen. New ones appear almost every day. I have tried to reboot an restart my charge 3 but it doesn’t solve the problem. Can you help me?!

I have tried every method that is written a few months ago.
At first, it was just a few lines on top, but now it has reached the middle part and covers the clock numbers which is very disturbing.
Are there any other methods?

(I bought it on February 27.)

My Charge3 started having the black line problem last week.  This device was purchased in March of this year.  How do I get it replaced on warranty?

I took pictures of the fitbit with the lines across it and sent them to
customer services and they sent me a new watch

I bought 2 Charge 3 watch devices for myself and my wife for Christmas 2019.  My wife’s has been problematic within 2 months after she put it on at Christmas, but she thought this might be something easily fixed since I am pretty handy with technology.  My Charge 3 has been fine for the most part other the clock face going dark every so often, but that is remedied easily by simply changing the clock face to another face and then back again.  I have followed all the suggested solutions including:  (1). 8 Seconds Full Restart or Reboot.   (2). Changed Clock Face multiple times.
 (3).  15 Seconds Restart.  NONE of these methods worked.  The horizontal lines remain on my wife’s watch.  Is there anything else we can do to fix this serious watch screen problem?  Or....must we replace this 1 Charge3 ?  If the latter must be done, please help me as you have others.  We look forward to hearing back from you as soon as possible.  Thank You.

Nothing fixed mine I took pictures of it and sent them to customer service
and they sent me a new one.

Thank you for responding. I have contacted them and they are sending me a new “pebble” to use with my charger and band.

My HR Charge 3 has missing pixels. I've tried resetting it and changing the clock faces several times. Anyway to resolve this issue?

My Fitbit Charge 3 also has multiple black lines on the screen. Mostly at the top but now one has also appeared halfway down. It is less than a year old. I have reset it, I’ve done the long reset and re-sync, and I have changed the clock face. Nothing has helped. Can you please advise what I should do next. Thanks.

Hi. My wife’s Fitbit continues to have these lack horizontal lines with even more lines since I first reported this problem. My own Charge continues to be fine, but Ithought I would have heard from Fitbit by now with respect to replacement but zero. Her Charge 3 is almost unreadable. Disappointed beyond words. If we don’t hear from Fitbit soon re replacing hers, I would have to strongly urge other consumers to NOT buy any Fitbit product. Hopefully, Fitbit will reach out to us...and soon.

Less than a year old? Fitbit should replace it for you.

True, Gvaughn27.    My wife’s Charge 3 started getting the same lines within 3 months or less of purchase, but we have no idea as to what to do other than post here and wait on Fitbit to respond? We did that quite some time ago, but have yet to hear back from Customer service. We’re so disappointed so far as all we’ve heard back so far is crickets. We were so excited initially when I bought our 2 Fitbit Charge 3 s, and my own still runs flawlessly, but my wife’s has been on the blink almost from the beginning.  I have multiple photos of my wife's Charge 3, too.

Fitbit did quickly replace mine after I opened a chat window with their support team and told them where I bought mine and approximately when.  They were able to look up my purchase details and mailed a new “pebble” to me within days.  They did offer me the option to purchase a different model at a discount.  I chose replacement. The new one has worked well but sometimes does not track my sleep.

Hello! I've referred to this forum because I am having the same issue with my Fitbit 3. I bought the watch about a year ago, and this happened a couple weeks ago. It is getting progressively worse. Not only do I have multiple black lines going through my device, but now the it is missing all of the pixels going vertically on the far left side. I have tried every method on this forum. Changing clock faces, soft reset, long reset, clearing user data, everything I read here. Nothing has helped. Is there anything else I can do???

I contacted customer service and they were fantastic. I had a replacement within two weeks.

I would definitely suggest contacting them about your issue.

I also have the same issue with my  charge 3 with the dark lines appearing in the last couple of days. So bad I cannot read part of the display. I have tried short and long re-sets and changing clock face without any luck. Only had for just over a year, it was a gift, what are my options? Many thanks Gem
