Today, February 5th 2019, I synced my Fitbit. I regularly sync my Fitbit throughout the day, every day. But today I received notifications that I had gained a few lifetime climb and daily climb badges, which I checked and said that I had earned them on November 29th. I know for sure that I had never done even above 100 flights of stairs in a day, so I knew this was wrong. I scrolled down to November 29th and it said I had done 9448 flights of stairs!!
I contacted Fitbit support and though they were very helpful, they said they were unable to remove the data. They will be sending the issue of the glitch to another department to look into.
Has anyone else had this happen? I’ve seen other topics discussing false data but nothing like this. It’s so completely random.

@Avrea Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry to hear about your high floor count.
Your tracker uses it's altimeter to detect variance in altitude. It will count 1 floor for every 10 ft it detects you climbed. There are situations that may affect the floor count like stormy weather (that has an actual impact on atmospheric pressure), gusts of wind, an AC unit in a close room or opening a door. I suggest you start by cleaning the back of the tracker with cotton and rubbing alcohol then use compressed air at a distance to clear the altimeter's opening (check the image for reference). Finally restart it. Still as Support said the badges can't be removed but thank you for taking the time talking to them.
Let me know how it goes!

I have already restarted my Fitbit, but this glitch didn't happen because of the altimeter. The glitch changed my floor count for November 29th when I synced yesterday, not when I synced in November. I will make sure to clean my Fitbit though so hopefully this doesn't happen in the future.
