Data included in 'daily total' when not syncing for 2-3 weeks

Hello!

I am using multiple Charge 2's for a project and there are instances when the users will only be able to sync the device every 2-3 weeks. I understand that minute-to-minute and detailed data are stored on the device for 7 days and 'daily totals' or 'summary totals' are stored on the device for 30.

My question is - What are the specific daily or summary totals that are stored on the device for 30 days? Does this include daily summary totals for sleep, steps, heart rate, etc?

I've just synced one of the Charge 2's after not syncing for 2 weeks, and I am not getting daily sleep totals or summaries for any days beyond the last 7-days.

@kmdeck Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

I will gladly assist you with this. According from the help site this is the information stored on your device:

  • Most trackers store up to 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data. If you have a Fitbit Alta™, your minute-to-minute data is stored for up to 5 days. If you wait longer than 7 days (5 days for Alta) before syncing, you may only see the most recent week's detailed data.
  • Summary data (calories, distance, steps, and floors) will be stored for 30 days. If your tracker measures heart rate, summary heart rate data will be stored as well.

Let me know how it goes.
