@exerciseteach Did you try logging out from the app, on your previous post you stated that you haven't done this.

@Deztopstylist I usually don't suggest this (an it seems you are using an iPhone) so try uninstalling the app itself, restart your phone and reinstall the app).

@Mikeyt917 Try the suggestions listed in my previous post to see if this helps you correct the issue.

I have notifications dating back to the first of Feb 2017. They do not delete after 30 days and I have tried all the tricks I've read in this line of communication. Either I'm missing something, or I'm really confused, but nothing seems to be working. I did just change "notifications" to email only, to see if they will stop coming to my phone. I like the ones that tell me I've achieved a goal. I am not fond of having them stay on my phone, using up space. I use an iPhone 6SE. Any help would be appreciated. I have logged in and out, had computer and phone turned off and bag on. Still needing help.

Here is a tip to stop unwanted notifications. Tap here to set your preferences. You will see a screen like the one below. We still can't delete, but at least we can make sure we are not getting unnecessary notifications. It has helped empty my screens for sure!

Since we cannot delete old messages at this time, the best thing to do is to let the developers know that we want this function. I found this request in the new feature request board. I voted for it. You can add your voice to the request by voting for it, too.

How can we get fitbit to enable us users to be able to delete messages?

Notifications on my iPhone have been there since Feb....they are not being deleted after 1 mo.  Someone posted something to try, but they lost me as to what to do. I did try to do it, but didn't get very far when a pop up was supposed to show up and didn't.. please someone at Fitbit go into the account and delete those notifications. I get at least 2 a day. taking up valuable room on my phone.  Thanks.

I got messages from my friend and a banner came up on the screen of my Fitbit charge 2 of the message. Does that ever disappear off my screen if yes how long will it take to get off my screen. Thank

I think if you log off then back on takes a while

If I turn off my notifications on Fitbit charge 2 will it stop the banner to stop scrolling across my screen and will I still get my messages. I don’t care if my messages are still on the app I just don’t want it to keep scrolling on my screen

Not sure about that that may be in ur settings somewhere, I always turn off my notifications

Did the banner really show up on the Charge 2 and not on the Fitbit app?

Yes it scrolls across the screen of the Fitbit charge 2 not the app. It’s been scrolling across for 2 days now and can’t figure out how to make it disappear

No they don’t disappear automatically after 30 days I have massage from creeps for over two months and still can’t not delete them ANNOYING

Hey! I’m having same problem... Have logged in and out of the app and i’ve not been able to clear messages. My oldest is 123 days old and the most recent is 87 days but no luck... Can anyone help? 🤞🏼🤞🏼

It’s very annoying . I have massages that are 122 days old. I tried
everything but no luck.
This new Fitbit layout is given more problems.
Thinking of switching to another app.
