I run on my treadmill late at night without wearing my Fitbit. For the last 13 months, if I record a run that goes from 11:15 to 12:15, FB has understood that the first 45 minutes were on Day 1, and the next 15 were on Day 2. But for the last two days, it has just put all the steps in to Day 2. This is a mild annoyance. Sometimes I even run a little later specifically to get a head start on the next day's steps. But I don't want all the steps put on the second day, or the first day for that matter. Obviously, I can work around this, but it's kind of a pain. I have to put in two entries. I just bugs me.
Anyone else notice this? Or understand it?

Hi @V-Cubed, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, sorry for the delayed reply.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for all the details that were shared in your post, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if you're recording the activity using the exercise shortcuts of your Charge 2 or are you using the SmartTrack auto-recognition feature? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Also, which mobile device are you using to sync your Fitbit?
I'll be waiting for your reply so we can move forward.

Thanks for the thorough reply. And sorry for the delayed response. I shall answer your questions.
As I have for over two years, I am using the enter exercise feature on my App on my iPhone, which is admittedly a mere 5s, but it's the same phone I always used. My problems have been occurring for about two weeks. I tried again last night, to no avail. In fact when I entered a 56 minute run in, starting at 11:03 on Thursday, the App acknowledged that the run started and ended on Thursday night, but put all the steps on Friday, an

And now I'm having trouble on this website editing my own post. Double sigh. Suffice it to say, the problem is not solved.

It's fixed. Today, for the first time in weeks, it logged the run correctly over the two days! I have no idea why it changed. My complaining here made people leap into action? I dunno. But I'm happy I don't have to go through the weird calculations I've been going through to get this right.
Yay, Fitbit People.
