Hi,
I'm I'm a bit lost in the forums here, so I thought I'd post it here since I use a Charge 2.
I don't get the difference between the heart rate bpm and the heart during my exercise. I have the assumption that the heart rate bpm is an average of the realtime heart rate and that the activities use the realtime hrealtime heart rate.
Can someone confirm this for me? I'm quite confused as how to achieve my goals at the the moment.
Thanks!

Consider sampling interval. How many data points fit on your screen during the workout time vs. when graphing full day? Fitting 24 hours on your screen graph, you cannot see every reading.

On the app dashboard heart rate tile, it shows two numbers. The top number is your current heart rate with the heart beating at that rate. Below that is shows "resting heart rate". That generally resets in the morning and stays constant throughout the day.
You can read more about resting heart rate here:

That isn't my question. I'll rephrase.
I went on a walk yesterday and my heart upped to max 124 according to my fitbit and the activity tile. But when I look at the overview on the heart tile, it was just max 103 at that moment. What explains that difference?

I've repeatedly noticed the same thing. My max heart rate during exercise is never reflected in my heart rate data for the day. I would like to know why.

Today I took a 50 mins training session. I was above 150bpm for not less than 5 mins at the end of the session. The max heart rate in the app, however, shows just 142. Now, 5 mins out of 50 are 10%: the exercise graph should show it, but it doesn't.. This happens at every session: the reading in Firstbit display shows one thing, the app shows another.

I understand the graph can’t show every reading/sampling, but it should show at least one reading(the peak) at the highest bpm. Obviously it has that reading available since it shows it elsewhere.

Did you ever get a resolution on this? I’ve had this a few times, the bpm log is less than the exercise log, ie bpm log might say 120 but the exercise log might say 154, I don’t understand how they can record different bpm off the same device ??

I would also like to know why this is. I understand the point of the points not fitting on the graph, but when holding a high cardio rate (during a run) I wonder why there’s such a discrepancy.

Anyone get this figured out yet, im curious also why in recording excersise i have a higher peak bpm than in the resting bpm graph for the day. I also feel like the peak should be reflected in the graph regardless of the intervals. Lmk

I’m totally interested in this too . Sometimes exercise heart rate shows very high and I’m not even puffing. Yet heart rate graph shows thirty to forty points lower.
