Different calories burned reading on app and Charge 2

 completed a workout this morning, starting the workout on my watch and when conpleted stopped it and had a reading of kcals of 284. Then go into my app to check hr and impact etc and shows a kcal ready of 178. 

Why is this? Its a charge 2.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. This seems to be more related with the Fitbit app than the device itself, therefore, can you please let me know which phone are you using with your Charge 2? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Is this occurring with calories only or with other stats too? In the meantime I receive your answers, please troubleshoot the app following the next steps:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the operating system version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
