Hello Fitbitters - I'm trying to create a master thread to show Fitbit admins and developers that this is a faulty product that the company needs to stand behind. Please post in this thread (just once) if dim/dark/nonworking/unreadable/black/faulty screen on your Charge 3 / Charge 4 applies to you. (Do not post if it was just a brightness setting issue that you were able to fix!) THANK YOU!
Community admins - @WilsonFitbit @MatthewFitbit @AndreaFitbit - Could you please share this thread with the product development team and then post their response about this failing technology? Most of us have tried all the reboot and other suggestions in this forum to our absolute frustration. What use is this product if you can't read the screen? How frustrating is it to be told to navigate to settings when you can't even SEE the screens to navigate there?
You have hundreds of customers posting about dimming/dark screens (imagine the hundreds, if not thousands, who do not post on forums) and not getting much response, besides solutions and suggestions that don't work. Thank you.

Hi there @singery, it's good to have you in the Community.
I'm sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate the troubleshooting steps performed. I'd recommend you check you have the latest Fitbit Firmware and OS of your mobile device, then follow these instructions to restart your device.
Also you can try to change your clock face, if this fixes the issue, you can change it back to the original clock face. If you are using a third-party clock face, please switch to a Fitbit clock face and try the troubleshooting again.
And check if the Sleep Mode or Do Not Disturb Mode are On in your device.
