Dim display and fonts difficult to see on exercise screen

The  Charge 3 exercise screens are incredibly hard to see while working out. For instance while using the “run” screen it’s almost impossible to read the time and distance because it is a small gray font. It was cloudy during my workout and I still could not read them! The clock face is the same way. Please update these screens.

I think this is more to do with the fact the screen brightness goes from "normal" to "dim" when you select an exercise. For example my charge3 is set as "normal" brightness (I've also tried with "auto") yet when I select run as an exercise it will dim the screen way down low which is near impossible to see in daylight. If it's a sunny day you can't read it at all. There is no option to change brightness during an exercise.

This has just begun to happen to me as well - I outside and the brightness on the exercise screen is dimmer than normal and I cannot see the screen at all. I have adjusted from auto brightness to just normal but there’s still something dimming the brightness during exercise that makes the screen unreadable outdoors.
