I never had any problems with my fitbit till about 3 weeks ago.My charge 2 stopped showing my heartbeat. It has been losing my heart beat for a while but it stopped completely now. 2 weeks ago the light on the back of the charge 2 turned on and stayed on draining the battery in 30min. after letting it drain twice it stopped but the screen stopped displaying the top millimeters of the screen. Now it won't turn on at all. Was it build to last less then 2 years?

Hi @Pep88 thanks for bringing this to my attention, for sure I can help you with your difficulties. Let me first give you a warm welcome to our Community Forums.
Seems odd that your device is behaving in such way, this is certainly not the way we designed our Charge 2 model to perform. That said, regarding the display situation, can you please try our restart process? Then, if the screen turns on, please review all the information and steps that are specified on our help article: Why don't I see my heart rate on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
I'll be here if you need anything else, please keep me posted.

I tried the restart. Nothing happens, the screen just stays dark.

I have the exact same problem. I tried to restart the device but nothing changed. Display is not turning on and the heart rate monitor is not working any longer

I have the same issue, the heart rate stopped for a few months and suddenly restarted last week - now it won't hold a charge. Very frustrating!

Thank you for reaching out. My Fitbit charge 2 is no longer holding a charge. I am so disappointed. The heart rate stopped a bit ago, then a few weeks ago it started to work again. Then last week it stopped working again and now does not hold a charge. Thank you
Susan

All recommended actions did not work. I think my Fitbit charge hr 2 has died. The charge does not hold and there are some blank spaces on the screen and heart rate randomly works.

Good morning.
Im now expierencing exactly the same issue.
The screen of my fitbit is black, it does not turn on/ off and when I check my fitbit app, I see that the last syncronise was 3h ago, the last time I saw my watch.
I got this watch 2.5y ago as a gift and there was no problems with it so far. Now this is soo sudden..

Put the fitbit on charger and it seems like it is restarting. The weird part in this is empty battery which was not really an option. It was charger 3 days ago fully and in app this morning was showing full battery.

I have started having problems two weeks ago. I've tried everything except factory reset. I've had my Fitbit less than two years..
