Display not working on Charge 2

The display on my Charge 2 stopped working. I get nothing. It still syncs to my phone, but no display and no notifications. I have restarted multiple times, but no change. Anyone else experience this?

Depends how long you‘ve had it but I would contact Fitbit!

Good luck, they just offered me a discount on buying a new one! I decided not to bother as I‘ve had 3 which have all failed now!

I finally able to use my fitbit charge-2 with display on, all i did is took out display from my old unit and put it on the replacement unit, its up and running now perfectly for about 3 weeks now:), if you have had replaced unit then do not throw old one you can swap its parts just google to know how to dismental the unit there are quiet a few youtube video with instructions and its not that difficult

Hello- My Charge 2 screen is not working. It still syncs to my phone and it seems to be tracking correctly, but there are no notifications and the screen is dark. The green lights on the bottom for the heart rate seem to be working fine. I have tried cleaning, restarting several times, and following all of the troubleshooting recommendations. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My Charge 2 is about 24 months old and I have had no problems up to this point. 

This is my only fitbit watch, no replacements/

You will need to replace it. That was my experience after following all the steps.

This worked for me, my screen was acting bizzare, turning off, bussing, cyling through screen and displaying what looks like hieroglyphics.

tried to restart 3 times still isn't working and the lights aren't flashing although its charged.

It worked for a day, then started freaking out again.  I think it's because I cleaned my wrist with hand cleaner, the alcohol based kind.  Thing is done for.

Hi, my Fitbit charger2 display stopped working this week. I have used the Fitbit for last 2 years without any problems. Last Monday display started getting bleak and by Wednesday it was gone completely. 
I tried restarting it a few times but no luck. I am still able to charge it and can see the battery symbol ( distracted though).  Really disappointed.

This appears to be a problem for many people with the Fitbit 2. Unfortunately I never found a tracker with the features I wanted other than Fitbit. So I have the charge 3 now. A replacement for that one (which also had a problem) is on the way. Quality control at Fitbit appears to be lacking. I don’t want a large “smart watch”.

You’ll probably have to replace your tracker. But do call Fitbit and let them know the problem. They will probably give you a $25 discount off a new Fitbit.

Going to spend 30 euro's on a cheaper tracker instead of 77 euro's on another Fitbit, the cheaper ones have the same functions

My Fitbit display stopped working as well, it just shut off one day. I plugged it in and did a reset which worked but then the next day it went off again and I’ve never gotten it back. I’ve tried to reset it many times to no luck. It still syncs and works but I can’t read the display.

The initial reset worked only for a day before the display stopped working again. I’ve tried doing the 3x reset to no luck; the display still won’t work.

Me too.  Tried the fix and it’s not working.  I love my Fitbit, but If Fitbit doesn’t come out with a real fix soon I will try another brand for my next watch.

I began having this exact issue yesterday. I tried this and it did not work.

My unit seems to still be tracking and syncing but not displaying on the unit.
